General financial privacy Avoid identity theft and other scams Monitor and check your credit - Under the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003, you may request a free credit report from each credit bureau, each year. To obtain these reports, go to https://www.annualcreditreport.com, call 877-322-8228 or mail a request to Annual Credit Report Request Service, P.O. Box 105281, Atlanta, Ga. 30348-5281 (request forms are available online). We recommend that you space your requests out so that you receive your credit report every 4 months.
