Operations Intern - Pradeep, MBA
 I start my day at 7:30 a.m. by checking my e-mails and my calendar. I then meet with my supervisor to discuss any important issues and find out what I should focus on for the day. There are no typical days at Walmart, as it is a dynamic environment, and the priorities are always changing. I work on a project that requires a sound understanding of the retail industry and emerging trends. My project involves collaborating with many associates from different cross-functional teams to leverage their respective knowledge and insights. Networking plays a very important role, as I rely a lot on data and information that I get from colleagues in my own department and from others. It is nice to be part of an open door culture, where I have access to anyone in the company to seek guidance. I usually have a couple of meetings scheduled with colleagues who can help me with my project. At lunch, I catch up with the other interns at the cafeteria or at one of the local restaurants. We exchange notes on our projects and make after-work plans. We also discuss which fun activities we could do together over the weekend.
