Military Support

We Support the Troops

At Wal-Mart, we recognize our servicemen and women have one of the most difficult, and important, jobs in the world. We Help across the Country and across the Street

Nationwide, we work with organizations on several projects, including our in-store Wall of Honor and Message Books. Locally, associates at our stores, Sam’s Club locations and distribution centers take the lead on many projects designed specifically for their neighborhoods. Ranging from adopting families whose loved ones are deployed, to providing assistance to organizations and schools the local community can turn to for support.

These kits help children between the ages of three and five understand their feelings, and the challenges they face during various phases of pre-deployment, deployment, and homecoming.

Beginning in October and running through November 12, customers can honor their "hometown hero" by bringing a photo to any U.S. Wal-Mart or Sam’s Club Photo Center to be included on the store’s Wall of Honor.
