Facility Giving Programs The Walmart Foundation is proud to support the charitable organizations that are important to our customers and associates in their own neighborhoods. Walmart’s founder, Sam Walton, introduced the philosophy, “operate globally, give back locally.” Today, the Walmart Foundation continues to support local, state and national organizations that provide opportunities in the communities we serve. Through our Local Community Contribution and Hunger Outreach programs, Walmart Stores, Sam’s Clubs, and Logistics facilities can recommend grants beginning at $250 to local charitable organizations. Through our Local Community Contribution program (LCC), facilities are able to support the needs of their local communities by providing funding to organizations working to improve the lives of our associates, customers and neighbors.
