Donated Trucks Will Help Deliver 41 Million Additional Meals
The 35 donated refrigerator trucks are the Walmart Foundation’s response to a call from food banks that were unable to safely transport nutritious produce, deli meat, beef, chicken, dairy and other nutritious food donated from Walmart stores and other grocers.
Feeding Hungry Children and Families
Now, more Americans than ever are relying on hunger relief organizations. To meet this increased demand, the Walmart Foundation has donated $7.8 million to support food banks and provide healthy summer meals to children and families.
