Corporate Affairs Constituent Relations builds and strengthens relationships with minority, women and disability service organizations and leaders through external outreach and initiatives that contribute to the social, economic and environmental well-being of communities where Walmart currently operates and where we aspire to grow. Constituent Relations provides clear and consistent messages regarding our commitment to the communities we serve through external outreach – while safeguarding and shaping our reputation as an organization that is visible, forward-looking, and a great corporate citizen. In 2008, the Constituent Relations team worked with more than 300 community-based organizations, and supported more than 400 programs that contribute to the economic and social well-being of communities in which we serve.
