Elizabeth Tran, TechniSource Service GroupElizabeth Tran emigrated to the U.S. in 1975 from Vietnam, and started TechniSource Service Group (TSG) in 1994. Founded on a commitment to “build strong partnerships one customer at a time,” TSG specializes in providing industrial packaging products and services to customers nationwide. Tran credits “determination and the effort to earn the opportunity to service customers” for TSG’s successful partnership with Walmart, which started in 2006. Since the partnership began, TSG has supplied stretch film and related industrial packaging products for Walmart and Sam’s Club distribution centers. Understanding TSG’s potential, in 2008 Walmart selected TSG as one of 10 corporate scholarship recipients for the Tuck School of Business program at Dartmouth College. The program is an intensive, one-week entrepreneurial business course designed for high-performing minority business owners. “Through our business partnership with Walmart, along with Walmart’s sponsored educational program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, we have enhanced our business so we can better service clients nationwide,” said Tran.
