Used Asset/Fixture Program

Walmart’s Used Asset Program allows for the resale of excess or outdated fixtures and equipment. Everything from glass showcases, metal shelving, apparel racks, trash compactors to front end alignment lifts may be available to purchase. A sample listing of items available is located below. Currently we utilize 3 methods to sale the excess – 1) Public Auctions 2) On-line Auctions and 3) Existing store sales.

Public Auctions

These are held all across the US in Walmart stores that have relocated into a new building. A monthly Auction Calendar is sent via e-mail. This calendar shows all auctions across the US and the auction company conducting the sale. You can request to receive the calendar by sending an e-mail to Yvonne.JaynesWal-mart.com.

Existing Store Sales

There are times when existing stores will have a piece or two of excess equipment that we deem necessary to sell at store level. Our Home Office associates will work directly with the stores to find buyers that will go to the store to pick up the excess equipment. Purchasers of equipment accept full responsibility for any charges or expenses that may be incurred in transporting equipment to the location of purchaser.

Purchaser will be fully responsible for the installation, maintenance, and service of any equipment purchased.

In no event shall Walmart (including its related entities) be held responsible nor be held liable for any injury or damage to any person or property resulting from the use, misuse or failure of any equipment. The purchase of any equipment by purchaser shall be construed to mean that purchaser accepts full responsibility for, and agrees to indemnify Walmart (and its related entities) against any and all loss, liability and claims for injury or damage whatsoever, including reasonable attorney’s fees, resulting from the transfer, use, misuse or failure of any equipment purchased.
