Wal-Mart takes on local flavors

More Oklahoma-grown produce will be sold at Wal-Mart Supercenters in the Tulsa area under the retail giant's nationwide Locally Grown program.

Angela Stoner, a spokeswoman for Wal-Mart Stores Inc., said Porter peaches and Bixby sweet corn, as well as Oklahoma-grown blackberries and mushrooms will be carried and actively promoted in Wal-Mart stores.
