Second Ebrpss Teacher Wins Walmart Award

October 2, 2008 East Baton Rouge Parish Schools has issued the following news release: A second teacher from East Baton Rouge Parish School System has been named Teacher of the Year by an area Walmart store. Alan Berthelot, a teacher at Sherwood Middle Academic Magnet School, was given the award by the O'Neal Lane Walmart. The honor includes $1,000 to use in the classroom. Recently, Berthelot accepted his award from O'Neal Lane Walmart Manager James Grimball and Walmart Personnel Director David Morris. Read on
