City's newest Supercenter most modern

November 1, 2008 When the Avenues Walk Walmart Supercenter - the 15th in the Jacksonville metropolitan area - opens in the spring of 2009, it's likely to be a Walmart that's different from anything the city has ever seen. Walmart spokeswoman Amy Wyatt-Moore said Friday the chain's newest supercenter here, under construction at the 160-acre Avenues Walk shopping center between Florida 9A, Interstate 95 and Philips Highway, is to open with the new layout and color scheme store officials call "Project Impact."
