Redo to debut Wednesday

Cereal aisles are in front of dairy. Sodas, cookies and salty snacks are in a corner. Household cleaning and paper products have been moved out of the grocery aisles.

Walmart Stores Inc. said its latest store design is all about adjacencies and making its 218,000-square-foot Supercenter easier to shop. Pictures and signs are prominently displayed on walls, above aisle shelves and from the ceiling, making it obvious what department comes next. And there are no product tables in the aisles. Read on
