Walmart Foundation gives 'greening' grant to World Winter Games in Idaho

November 20, 2008 The Walmart Foundation on Nov. 18 announced a $1.1 million grant to the 2009 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Idaho Feb. 7-13. The grant will be used to help launch a "Greening the Games" initiative to reduce the overall carbon footprint of the upcoming games, Walmart and the Games said in a joint statement. Read on
