Home Instead, Walmart partner to help seniors

December 15, 2008 While many youngsters are hoping to get an Xbox or Hannah Montana toy for Christmas, Home Instead Senior Care and several other agencies are spreading the holiday cheer to seniors too. Last Friday, the Victorville-based organization joined forces with the Walmart Distribution Center in Apple Valley and Hi Desert Transfer and Storage in Hesperia to give more than 2,000 gifts to 688 area needy seniors.
