Walmart's grants to 12 total $778,000

January 31, 2009 The Walmart Foundation on Friday awarded $778,000 in grants to 12 Arkansas nonprofit organizations and projects at Walmart Supercenters in west Little Rock, Pine Bluff and Fort Smith. They are: Arkansas Literacy Councils Inc. received $250,000 for print and electronic instruction materials to teach adults English, writing and math skills. Read on
