Byrd is Teacher of Year

February 6, 2009 Elaine Raby Byrd, a kindergarten teacher at Chimneyrock Elementary, was recently named by the Bartlett area Sam's Club as Teacher of the Year. Byrd and principal Daphine Swift were presented with a giant $1,000 check, to be used at the school, by Jason M. Heg, membership assistant manager at the Bartlett-area Sam's Club.
