Walmart tests mail-order drug sales
The Boston Globe May 6, 2009 Walmart Stores Inc., the world's largest retailer, started free mail-order delivery of generic prescription drugs in Michigan yesterday in a test aimed at expanding pharmacy sales. Consumers in the state can call a toll-free telephone number to order more than 3,300 prescriptions, including a 90-day supply of 300 generic medicines for $10 each, Walmart said. Read more.
