Back to school in style
Red Bluff Daily News (California) August 3, 2009 At least 118 local children can't wait for school to start later this month. Volunteers spent most of Saturday morning helping children select new school clothes at Walmart in Red Bluff as part of The Back to School Program. With donations being solicited in earnest beginning in June, the program was able to provide $150 for each child. Combined with a 10 percent discount offered by Wal- Mart, that turned out to provide several outfits and pairs of shoes for each student, said Kimberly Berry, who started the program in 2004 through Zion Christian Ministry.
