Snell teacher wins Walmart award

September 12, 2009 With only six hours left before deadline, Cindy Lee, a science teacher for more than 17 years, sat down and began formulating a letter to Walmart's nationally renowned, "Write to Change the Classroom" contest.
In the letter, Lee talked about the mine layoffs and how it had effected enrollment, along with budget cuts that the school had been forced to deal with. Read on.
