Smiles all around: Walmart adopts Newark family this holiday season

NEWARK The stockings were hung on the fireplace and the house was full of young kids with bright smiles.

But there was something missing in the Infante household during this holiday season.

"Do you have a tree?" Mark Blome asked Wendy Infante, a mother of seven, as she stood in her family's living room earlier this week.

When Infante said no, Blome replied, "Don't worry, we've got one of those, too." Read on.
