Rosemead Walmart gets a revampSan Gabriel Valley Tribune (California) ROSEMEAD - Walmart, the next generation, re-opened on Wednesday to the sound of Mariachis, eager customers and a new look designed to continue the company's goal of being a one-stop shopping hub. For 13 weeks, crews remodeled the inside of the giant, 209,000-square-foot superstore, which remained open during the work. Wider aisles, new signs, lowered store shelves and counters, along with new inside lighting and a larger electronics section were all designed to offer customers a better buying experience as they shop for everything from fruit to TVs.
