Walmart To Add "KISS Korner" in Select Stores for Oct. 6 Release of SONIC BOOM

KISS Shirts, Makeup, Wigs, KISS Spuds and Other Kollectibles Coming to Entertainment and Halloween Aisles

BENTONVILLE, Ark. (Sept.3, 2009) – KISS fans ready for the new SONIC BOOM CD/DVD release Oct. 6 can own a piece of KISStory when many Walmart stores unveil "Kiss Korners" in Electronics departments and Halloween aisles in October. Stores will offer in special areas KISS T-shirts, wigs, makeup, limited edition KISS M&M candies, and even KISS Mr. Potato Head spuds of all four band members through Halloween.

For Detroit City Rockers and beyond, the exclusive KISS CD/DVD package, SONIC BOOM, and KISS kollectibles will be available in select Walmart stores nationwide. Select items, including the MP3 digital album, will be available at Walmart.com. Pre-orders for the new 3-disc set are currently available at www.walmart.com/kiss for $12.

SONIC BOOM is KISS’ first new album in 11 years. The eleven-track CD is part of a three-disc set that also features a completely re-recorded greatest hits CD and a live DVD shot in Argentina during the band’s recent, record-breaking KISS ALIVE 35 South American tour. The greatest hits CD will include tracks made famous on the KISS ALIVE! album such as "Rock and Roll All Nite," "Deuce," "Black Diamond," and "Hotter Than Hell." The CD/DVD set will retail for $12 exclusively at Walmart, Walmart.com, Sam’s Club and samsclub.com.

KISS will kick-off a 40-plus-city tour with a special KISS ALIVE 35 show at Detroit Rock City’s legendary concert venue, Cobo Arena, on September 25. The tour features opening act Buckcherry. Concert tickets and more KISS information are available at www.KISSonline.com.
