Elks, Wal-Mart honor area veterans

Fort Morgan Elks and Wal-Mart honored veterans Wednesday in separate ceremonies in Fort Morgan on Veterans Day.

The Elks held their usual annual service, complete with an honor guard, video presentations, a flag ceremony by the DOES, introduction of veterans who attended the ceremony and the playing of "Taps."

At Wal-Mart, veterans and guests were served cake and punch at a brief ceremony. Read on.
