Sam's Club gives community a hand

NEW PORT RICHEY - Sam's Club operates on the idea of shopping in bulk. So it made perfect sense for the management of the Sam's Club at 4330 U.S. 19 to celebrate the completion of a four-month remodeling project by bestowing some grant money in volume.

On Nov. 20, representatives from 14 area schools and organizations lined up inside the members-only retail outlet to receive a total of $13,000 in grants prior to a ribbon-cutting to mark the official end of the remodeling. Read on.
