North end grocery store nears completion

Wal-Mart is getting close to opening a grocery addition to its Guelph store that will create 100 new jobs here.

"It will be the one-stop shop that our customers have been asking for and that they enjoy," said Wal-Mart spokesperson Felicia Fefer.

Fefer said the public will be invited to a grand opening event when the 50,000-sq.-ft. addition opens, but she couldn't say when it will open. "All I can say at this time is early spring," she said. Read on.
